pynbody.plot.sph.sideon_image

pynbody.plot.sph.sideon_image(sim, *args, **kwargs)

Create an image of the given simulation, side-on to the disc of the passed halo.

This routine is a small wrapper around image() that rotates the simulation so that the disc of the passed halo is side-on, makes the SPH image, then rotates the simulation back to its original orientation.

More flexible control over the orientation of the simulation can be achieved by using sideon() in combination with image().
