pynbody.analysis.cosmology.rate_linear_growth(f, z=None, unit='h Gyr^-1')

Calculate the linear growth rate b’(a), normalized to 1 at z=0, for the cosmology of snapshot f.

The output is in ‘h Gyr^-1’ by default, but other units can be specified. If a redshift z is specified, it is used in place of the redshift in output f.
